I know I am a tremendously fortunate girl to be able to go for overseas vacations nearly every holiday but sometimes these vacations stand in the way of my commitment to various CCAs in university and hall. What am I to do? It's so hard to say no to my family especially my mum who planned and planned so far ahead to book for vacations. Of course I'd love to travel the world, who wouldn't? But the fact remains that I can't give a ready reply to whether I would be free during that period because some activities are not planned that early! And when I know about it I would be unable to go for it because of family. I don't want to be limited in my capacity to have these experiences. And it definitely would not reflect well on me when I'm supposed to do something but I say I can't because of family vacation while others are putting their time and energy into it.

I hate being bothered by something that is months away when I have a pathology test next week and I have not studied for it!

Edit: Mum has postponed the dates of the trip to Egypt and it was a blessing in disguise coz we qualify for early bird promotion now so yay! =)
