Haven't been updating my blog since I came back to Singapore much. Laziness of my nature.
First week I'm back had been a whirlwind of orientation activities at the sidelines, protected by the lens, organising photographers as incoming chairperson. Then rag on 11th august at the padang, what an adrenaline rush, double burn after Sentosa. Never have I seen such an open display of mass emotion. I was glad and proud to be part of it, however minimally I helped for rag.
Then all too soon, school has started. But first week was still alright. We got a rule breaking speed demon cooler than she looks fogey for Pharmacy Law, a detestable honkie for Pharmacostatistics, a softspoken woman nearing her final trimester for the continuation of Physical Pharm (NOOOO) and a well versed (but of course) lecturer for new module Foundations for Effective Communications which I look forward to.
The glorious days without practicals and tutorials gave much naptime and video marathons of America's Next Top Model cycle 8.
Wednesday was laydee's night out at Zouk which unfortunately clashed with Temasek Hall bash. Crushing bodies causing claustrophobia amidst the funky monkey moves and the shakin' hip hop beats.
The weekend was spent having a good meal at Holland Village, loitering around Ikea til I fell ill and a nice pasta dinner at Anchorpoint. Saturday night was taken up by Donnie Darko. Sunday was for recuperation obviously. And endless vegging of So You Think You Can Dance.
One of the couple's dance also led me to discover
One Republic which I was blown away by the music used by KR during Dance Uncensored.
The new week started miserably with sore throat and fever. And coming to the title of this post- Pessaries which looked the colour of piss. I failed miserably. Dammit.
This week promises hectic schedules with IBG and SNDCC around the corner too. Til the next post!
