when i drove him back home mum's first reaction to the flowers were *that must have cost u a bomb!* ever the romantic. lectured him bout being a vicitm of commercialisation. i didn't demand for flowers, but it still feels nice receiving them. i opted for home made cookies as a gift, which his mum thought were from Famous Amos! ooh thank you thank you!
