Title : Review: Chronicles of Narnia
    Time : 11:06 pm

    Earworm: Let It Snow

Surely to be compared with children book adaptation Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia has quite a lot to live up to, as JX put the trailer as a cross between HP and LOTR. well i must say i preferred the Harry Potter film but that may be biased coz im a fan of the book series and the characters had their time to grow on me since it is the 4th instalment after all. also was not impressed, in fact bored, by the book that is CON, but the first time i read it was in my primary school days so probably didn't understand english that well. that said, Chronicles of Narnia is a fantastic film in its own right. A tale about the Pevensie children who are destined to break Narnia from its wintry spell by regaining the throne. Special effects, spot on. I looove the beavers! Tilda Swinton was perfectly cast as the ice queen too. And have a soft spot for Mr. Tumnus and Lucy Pevensie. Aslan was magnificent as the majestic lion as well. my only rant is that being a children's book I suspect, the victory seemed all too easy and everyone that is good-hearted survived/brought back from the dead. hmmm, pessimist in me protesting against a too-perfect ending?
