Earworm: Caught up ~~ UsherAfter guitar prac in the morning, mel and me went to swensen's to celebrate KL's 19th! met up with the rest, had to get a table of 11... bday girl was totally gorgeous in black top which is somewhat like a halter and lurvly black skirt with purple butterflies/flowers. most of us ordered baked rice, some pasta. and shared an Earthquake with 8 flavours of ice-cream-- cookies and cream, coffee, raisin, pistachio almond, mint, the rest diff types of choc.. with huge dollops of whipped cream and cherries. was in the process of melting when served so 7 of us dug in like hungry ghosts. quite uncivilised hahaha. KL got the firehouse special on us. which didnt look v. special coz we expected some fireworks but it was just a small candlle on a chunk of banana!
after a filling lunch, walked to plaza singapura to shop and get haircuts for sf,jol and kl. kl had a funky do and sf an out of bed look, quite difficult to maintain tho. while jol's hairdresser was comically enough the same one she had last year when she gelled her hair. their bantering was super hilarious. at first her hair was like no diff and ppl commented on the other two's new hairstyle but not hers (=P) but later at night see the diff, much thinner hair. mel and fc were busy scouting around for 19 prezzies for the bday girl in carrefour. in the end, at midnight, we presented her with all of them, taking her down memory lane haha...
